Do I need the WhatsApp Business API to use Baat?
Baat runs on the official WhatsApp Business API and sets it up for you as part of onboarding. You do not need to apply separately or write any code to connect it.
Can I keep my existing WhatsApp number?
Usually yes. A number that is not on WhatsApp at all can be connected directly. A number already on the WhatsApp Business app can either be deleted from the app first, which loses its chat history, or moved across while keeping the app running, if your provider supports that. Tell us which applies and we will confirm before you start.
How long does setup take?
Connecting a store and inviting your team is quick. The step that takes longest is Meta business verification, which is outside our control and can take a few days depending on your documents.
Are WhatsApp message fees included?
No. Your plan covers the platform. Meta charges separately for each template message you send, at a rate that varies by template category, country and volume.
Can my whole team use one number?
Yes, that is the point of the shared inbox. Every agent gets their own login while customers see a single business number, and you can see who handled which conversation.
What happens after the free trial?
You pick a plan to carry on, or the account pauses. Your contacts and conversation history are not deleted if a trial lapses.
